Originally by: Chribba So this will enable us to reactivate accounts via PLEX'es from sec-eveo?
No. This system enables players to buy a PLEX directly from CCP, instead of buying an ETC and converting it into a PLEX. |

Originally by: keepiru Also, the current SISI client gives me a much higher framerate count than TQ, I hope whatever it is that does that gets in.
That is very surprising, (1) since the new client that we will release tomorrow was tested on Multiplicity and (2) the current Singularity client is just the Tranquility client. |

Would this be the check for a DirectX 9.0c DLL even when DirectX 10 is installed?
No, we moved the check from the client into the installer and patcher but the old code leaked back into the client so we were checking twice. We removed the check from the client so now it's only the installer and patcher that check the DirectX version. |

I've had the bug, and found that if you wait about 20 sec after pausing the skill your currently training the bug does not affect the jump. Seems to be if you jump immediately after pausing the skill. So, try waiting a minimum of 20 sec and see if that works for you.
A work-around is to leave the ship and enter a pod before you clone jump. |

Originally by: Reptzo My understanding of your statement is that we will be able to go to eve website, insert credit card, log in with plex in hanger. Am i right?
Yes, except you log in, see a redeem button on the character selection screen, redeem item, enter game with PLEX in the hangar. |

The PLEXes that you buy this way are the same as when you convert an ETC to PLEX. Exact same items and usage.

Originally by: Klyde PLEX redeeming system,
Can you explain how this redeem system works for the slower ones like me =) Are you adding an ingame store or using a current system. It sounds like a reward system, what do we need to redeem these? Isk, rewards, loyalty points, MIlita rewards?
Your credit card.
Currently you can buy an ETC code and convert it in-game into a PLEX (and use it or sell it for ISK or items).
With this new system you can buy a PLEX directly on CCP's web site and redeem it in-game (redeem, claim, get, obtain, have delivered). You can then use it (apply to your account) or sell it for ISK or items.

They are only delivered to NPC stations. |

"Will pilots be able to use a plex from inventory, if the account gets locked? (for expired accounts)"
IE, you login one day to find your account locked, can you log into the eve-online website, access your account and use a plex from your inventory, after the account is locked?
Chribba asked in post #2 and I replied in post #21. |

Originally by: Seragon I'm curious what other sorts of things you can Redeem for in the future. I'm sure players will be up in arms if you can give CCP fifty bucks directly and fly away in a brand new Dreadnaught. But I think it'd be neat to go the way of some asian games and let you buy cosmetic things for cash.
From a technical perspective then the Redeeming System is a general purpose system to deliver items to characters. There were two major use cases that we had in mind when developing this system. The first one was the PLEX, an item that a player buys from the web site, and the second was "snowballs and snowball launchers", i.e., items that CCP gives to players as a part of an event. There are no plans to allow players to buy dreadnoughts, that is not the intended usage of this system.
